Once again Danny Jacobs got in the ring with another undefeated fighter and was able to claim the IBF title in a war with Sergiy Derevyanchenko. From here the doors are wide open fro Jacbos to get a big fight with Canelo, a rematch with Golovkin, or even a unification fight with Demetrius Andrade. We can’t count Derevyanchenko out eith because he definitely proven himself with an impressive performance Saturday. But what’s the middleweight division’s future now that it still seems hard to make the fights fans want when Golovkin isn’t with HBO anymore, and Canelo is making a trip to 168?
